To make the most of your free dental consultation appointment, bring any recent X-rays, imaging, or records from your current dentist. If you don't have them, we can take our own. Either way, we'll make sure we have everything we need to give you a thorough, accurate assessment.

What Actually Gets Reviewed

A second opinion is not a five-minute glance at someone else's chart. Dr. Holyoak or Dr. Kubik works through a specific set of questions before agreeing or disagreeing with anything:

• Does the imaging support the diagnosis? We compare what the X-rays actually show, bone levels, decay depth, the state of a root, against what was recommended. Sometimes the picture matches. Sometimes it does not.
• Is there a less invasive path to the same result? A tooth flagged for extraction may be savable with a root canal and a crown. A full-arch plan may be more than a patient's bone loss actually requires. We say so when we see it.
• Does the sequence make sense? Multi-step treatment plans have an order for a reason. We check whether that order protects the patient's bite and budget, or whether steps could be safely delayed.
• What happens if the patient does nothing? For some findings, waiting is genuinely fine. For others, delay makes the eventual treatment bigger and more expensive. We tell you which situation you are in.
