All-on-4 Dental Implants at Copper Sky Dental

A Full Arch of Teeth on Just Four Implants
All-on-4 dental implants give you a complete set of upper or lower teeth anchored to just four strategically placed implants in the jawbone. If you are missing most or all of your teeth and want a stable, permanent alternative to traditional dentures, All-on-4 may be the right solution. At Copper Sky Dental — a locally owned practice, not a corporate chain — Dr. Holyoak and Dr. Kubik have placed hundreds of implants for patients across Peoria, Sun City, and the West Valley. What are All-on-4 implants?
All-on-4 is a treatment concept where a full arch of prosthetic teeth is supported by four dental implants. Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw, and two are placed at an angle in the back. The angled placement takes advantage of the denser bone in the front of the jaw, which often means patients with some bone loss can still qualify — even if they have been told they do not have enough bone for traditional implants.
The result is a set of teeth that stays in place, restores full chewing function, and looks natural. Unlike removable dentures, All-on-4 implants do not slip, do not require adhesive, and do not need to be taken out at night.
Who is a good candidate?
All-on-4 is designed for adults who are missing all or most of their teeth in one or both arches. It is especially well-suited for:
- Seniors with bone loss — the angled implant placement often eliminates the need for bone grafting, which is common with traditional implant approaches
- Current denture wearers — patients frustrated with slipping, adhesive, and dietary restrictions
- Patients with failing teeth — teeth that are beyond saving can be extracted and replaced with All-on-4 in the same procedure
During your consultation, we review your health history, take imaging, and give you an honest assessment. If All-on-4 is not the best option for your situation, we will tell you and discuss alternatives like traditional dentures or individual implants.
The All-on-4 process step by step
1. Consultation and planning
We evaluate your oral health, take digital imaging, and discuss your goals. You receive a clear treatment plan and transparent pricing before any work begins.
2. Implant placement
On the day of surgery, any remaining teeth are extracted if needed, and the four implants are placed. We use local anesthesia to keep you comfortable throughout.
3. Temporary teeth the same day
A temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants on the same day as surgery. You leave the office with a functional smile — you are never without teeth.
4. Healing period
Over the next 3-6 months, the implants fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. During this time you eat, speak, and smile normally with your temporary teeth.
5. Final restoration
Once healing is complete, your permanent prosthetic arch is fabricated and attached. This final restoration is custom-designed for a natural appearance and a comfortable bite.

All-on-4 vs. traditional dentures
Traditional removable dentures rest on the gums and are held in place by suction or adhesive. Over time, the jawbone beneath them shrinks because there are no tooth roots to stimulate it. This bone loss changes your facial profile and makes dentures fit poorly.
All-on-4 implants are anchored in the jawbone, which helps preserve bone density. They restore up to 90% of natural chewing power compared to roughly 25% with traditional dentures. Patients report that implant-supported teeth feel much more like their natural teeth.

Answers to common questions about All-on-4 dental implants in Peoria, AZ
All-on-4 implant costs vary based on the type of restoration, whether any teeth need to be extracted first, and the materials used for the final prosthesis. We provide clear, upfront pricing after your consultation so there are no surprises. We accept most major dental insurance plans and can discuss payment options with you directly. The four titanium implants that anchor your new teeth are designed to be permanent. They fuse with your jawbone and can last a lifetime with proper care. The prosthetic arch (the teeth attached to the implants) may need replacement after 10-20 years due to normal wear, but many patients enjoy theirs much longer.
Most adults who are missing all or most of their teeth in one arch are candidates for All-on-4. One advantage of this approach is that it often works for patients who have experienced bone loss and may not qualify for traditional individual implants. We evaluate your bone density, overall health, and goals during your consultation.
Traditional dentures sit on top of the gums and are held in place by suction or adhesive. They can slip, limit what you eat, and accelerate bone loss over time. All-on-4 implants are anchored directly to the jawbone, so they do not move, do not require adhesive, restore full chewing power, and help preserve bone density.
Most patients receive a temporary set of teeth the same day as their implant surgery, so you are never without teeth. Discomfort is typically manageable with over-the-counter pain medication. Most patients return to normal activities within a few days. The final permanent restoration is placed after the implants fully integrate with the bone, usually 3-6 months later.
Yes. Many of our All-on-4 patients are people who have been wearing traditional dentures and are tired of the slipping, adhesive, and dietary restrictions. If you are frustrated with your current dentures, All-on-4 implants may be an excellent alternative. We offer free second opinions to help you evaluate your options.
All-on-4 implants are cared for much like natural teeth. Brush twice daily, use a water flosser to clean around and under the prosthesis, and visit your dentist for regular checkups. We provide detailed home care instructions and schedule regular maintenance visits to keep your implants healthy for the long term.
