Who Creates This Content
All clinical content published on copperskydental.com is written by or in close collaboration with the licensed dental professionals at Copper Sky Dental. Our two practicing dentists bring a combined six decades of patient care experience to every page.
Dr. Robert S. Holyoak, DMD earned his DMD from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry and has practiced dentistry in the West Valley since 1976. He holds membership in the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
Dr. Lisa Kubik, DMD earned her DMD from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and joined Copper Sky Dental in 2018. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
Medical Review Process
Each service page and clinical blog post is reviewed by one of our dentists before publication. The reviewing dentist is identified in the byline at the top of the page. Their role is to verify clinical accuracy, flag outdated guidance, and ensure that content reflects current standard-of-care practices.
Content covering surgical or complex restorative procedures — such as dental implants, All-on-4 implants, or tooth extractions — is reviewed by Dr. Holyoak. Content covering general, preventive, and cosmetic topics is reviewed by Dr. Kubik. Both doctors may review any page where their expertise overlaps.
How We Use External Sources
Where clinical claims require external support, we link to authoritative sources including the American Dental Association (ADA), the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Mayo Clinic. We do not accept payment to link to any source.
Update Schedule
Service pages and clinical articles are reviewed at least once per year and updated whenever clinical guidelines change or new information becomes relevant. Each page displays a "Last updated" date so you can see when it was last reviewed.
